Frequently Asked Questions
General
What platforms are currently supported? Currently Google Ads, Meta Ads, QuickBooks, and Xero. More platforms are being added regularly — if yours isn't on the list yet, get in touch.
Are my passwords or credentials stored at your side? No. All connections to Google, Facebook-Meta, QuickBooks, Xero and others use OAuth/OAuth2. You authorize access directly through each platform, and we never see or store your login credentials.
What does reconciliation actually mean here? It means matching your ad spend records against your accounting records and resolving the gaps — different formats, missing entries, timing mismatches, currency differences. The result is a clean, agreed set of numbers across both systems.
Do I have to reconcile both sides? What if I only use it for ads? No. You can run the ads-only pipeline, which fetches, normalizes, and pushes ad data without touching your accounting system at all. Full reconciliation is available when you need it, not mandatory.
Nothing gets pushed automatically? Correct. Every sync ends with a preview — a clear summary of what will change. Nothing is written to your accounting system until you explicitly approve it.
How fresh is the data? You control that. Syncs can run on a schedule you define, or you can trigger one manually at any time.
Is my data shared with anyone? No. Your data is fetched from your connected platforms, processed, and pushed back to your systems. It is not sold, shared, or used for any other purpose.
What if something goes wrong? Every action is logged. You have a full audit trail of every sync, every change, and every push — so anything unexpected can be traced and reversed.
Who is this built for? Small to mid-sized businesses, finance teams, and agencies who run paid advertising and need their ad spend accurately reflected in their books — without doing it by hand.
Is there a free trial? Yes. You can get started without a credit card and explore the full workflow before committing to a plan.
How long does setup take? Most users are connected and running their first sync within 15–20 minutes. You authorize your platforms via OAuth, configure your accounts and date ranges, and you're ready to go. No technical knowledge required.
What exactly is "normalization"? Different ad platforms report the same things differently — campaign structures, metric names, date boundaries, currencies. Normalization is the step that translates all of that into one consistent format before any processing or reconciliation happens. It's what makes cross-platform comparison meaningful.
Am I able to connect multiple ad accounts? Yes. Multiple accounts across multiple platforms can be connected and managed from one place.
What if my ad spend and accounting records don't match? That's precisely what the reconciliation engine is for: discrepancies are identified, categorized, and presented to you clearly — along with a proposed resolution — before anything is changed.
How are currency differences handled? Transactions in different currencies are normalized using exchange rates at the time of the transaction. You can review how conversions were applied before approving any push.
Can I reconcile historical data, not just current? Yes. You can define the date range for any sync, so catching up on past periods or re-processing a previous month is straightforward.
What does the preview actually show me? A clear breakdown of every record that would be created, updated, or flagged — organized so you can quickly scan, drill in where needed, and approve or reject with confidence.
What if I want to reject part of a proposed sync? You are not forced into an all-or-nothing decision. Individual entries can be reviewed and excluded before the final push.
Do you support multiple users or is it one account per business? Multiple external accounts - of Google, Facebook-Meta, QuickBooks, Xero and others - are supported. However, at this service only a single account is supported, there're no subaccounts yet.
What happens if a sync fails halfway through? The process is designed to be safe by default. Partial syncs do not result in partial pushes — if something fails before the approval stage, nothing is written. The issue is logged so you can review and retry.
Is there an API I can integrate with? Not yet publicly. If you have a specific integration need, get in touch — it may already be on the roadmap.
How is pricing structured? Pricing is based on [volume / connected platforms / syncs per month — TBD]. A free tier is available to get started. See the pricing section for current plans.
Is this a one-person operation? Should I trust it? Yes, this is an independently built product. The advantage of that is a fast-moving roadmap, direct access to the developer, and no corporate bureaucracy between your feedback and the next release. The codebase is built with simplicity and reliability as first principles.
I have a platform or use case you haven't mentioned. Can you support it? Possibly. The architecture is built to accommodate new integrations. Reach out with your specific case and it can be assessed honestly.
